Since 2018, Heaven’s Kitchen has served our community with compassion, starting with weekly hot meals and now providing grocery bags to families in need. In 2023 alone, over 16,000 meals were served. A homebound delivery route ensures even those who can’t attend still receive support. As of May 2025, the program now distributes weekly groceries, with plans to include fresh produce and launch a “Backpack for Kids” initiative this summer. Located at the First Presbyterian Church Annex in Harrisburg, IL, Heaven’s Kitchen operates every Tuesday from 5–6 p.m. Follow us on Facebook for updates and ways to help.
